Mikee's Carnival Themed Birthday Party :)

This one was one of the coolest birthday parties the kids and I have gone to.

Ate Summer hosted their Mikee's 1st birthday party at home. It was a carnival themed one.:) I wasn't able to take much pictures but at least I have a few.

Happy 3rd Hello Kitty Birthday Alex!

Boss Lu's princess celebrated her 3rd Birthday at Jollibee. I wanted to include her birthday here since I find Hello Kitty cute anyway.

I wish I was able to take pictures, but I was really very busy with the kids. Enjoy naman sila and were very happy sa dami ng laman ng lootbags. Hehe..

Loren Anika's Beary Happy 2nd Birthday!

Beary Happy 2nd Birthday, Anika!

Her birthday this year fell on Ash Wednesday. So we just heard mass and ate out on the 5th and celebrated at home on the 8th.

Before hearing mass at the Good Shepherd, we first ate at Holy Cow with lola and her siblings and played at the Kids Village.

It was a heavy merienda (more of a supper to us)! My first time to eat at Holy Cow. And oh boy, this set was superb! Was worth your peso power! :)

Then, we got her a cupcake so she can blow a birthday candle:

The day was a blast! But we still have a party in store for the weekend!

This mommy prepared a lot in advance for bunso's party at home. I cooked a lot, baked a lot, and prepared alotta looties.

Here's what we have for the loot bags:

I got drawing books and erasable crayons+pencil+sharpener kits (not on pic :( ) from National Bookstore and paper dolls, toy wrist watches, gummy rings, candies, swirl lollies and marshmallows from Kadiwa. :)

I wanted to pack the stuff with something kinda reuseable and mother earth-friendly. So i got these non-woven bags:

Then her ninang Jen helped me staple the thank you tags on it. :)

On the other hand, her Tita Candy helped us out in the kitchen. :) So we were able to cook the bestest fried chicken wings and the bestest bagoong ever!

I made that kinda weird looking blueberry cheesecake right there ^^ with a super thick crust (per aton's request), and the cuppies of course :) Cooked some pasta and karekare, and bought two trays of palabok (for only 200 peso powers) from a neighborhood palutuan. :) 

Then we got her a cake from Tous Les Jours. This was supposedly the party bear cake but since it was March, the hat it came with was a graduation hat instead of a party hat. So I got some candy coated sunflower seeds to fill the spot where i took the graduation hat off from, then stuck a number candle on it. :)

We were still half-way with our happy birthday song when the kids started plucking off the chocolate from the back of Anika's birthday cake. 

So, this was how it looked like after blowing the candle:

Allison's 6th :)

I asked Aton how she wanted to celebrate her birthday. She said, she wants to check in at La Traviesa so she and her siblings could enjoy a small celebration and a swimming spree. 

So I have set a strict budget plan for this simple birthday celebration. 

I bought a voucher from LivingSocialPH. The voucher covered our overnight accommodation, breakfast for 2, and use of facilities. I got her a Red Ribbon Jr. Dedication cake, cooked some pasta and cocktail hotdogs, and bought a roasted chicken from Sr. Pedro. That's how kuripot this mommy is. Hehe...

This is our second visit at La Traviesa. Yung totoo, I enjoyed the first visit more. But my mom says, this staycation was better. Probably because she wasn't hassled at the admin. I was a little disappointed lang that they forgot to serve breakfast for the additional head we paid for, and that their POS disn't work for my Mastercard (good thing I always bring cash, pano na lang kung wala), and that the bathroom had some issues (will post pictures soon). 

Generally, we enjoyed the getaway, of course, since I am spending time with the kids. Let me share glimpses of Aton's pre-birthday celebration... 

On the 31st, after all the Trick-or-Treating, we also had a birthday lunch at Pizza Hut. We shared a Feast for 4, and were all satisfied. 

She had a tiny blow cake: 

And Pizza Hut gave her a Birthday Sundae for free! 

I still can't imagine how time flies so fast. Parang kelan lang, my little aton was just a baby, and now, she's 6 na! May you continue to be thoughtful, pretty and witty, Ate Aton. God-fearing and responsible. And I hope you will continue to value and love your family. Mommy loves you so much. I hope I can make up for any shortcomings I've had, baby. Kahit tayo-tayo lang, I hope you'll still feel that we are one whole family. I LOVE YOU, dear! :)

Allson's Cars Themed 3rd Birthday Partey

The original plan was to celebrate Allson's birthday at school. But since he isn't coming to school lately, we decided to hold his celebration at home. 

I have a strict  budget, so I have to come up with everything that's budget-friendly. This was my intial budgetary guideline: 



I woke up at around 3am to make som cuppies, and my eldest helped me out on these.

I started invading the kitchen to cook these quick and easy recipes: 

Then picked up the balloons just before noon. 

Our Ate Ganggang set up the balloons all over the living and dining area. (We love you, ate gang!)

Then we picked up Allson's cake afterwards. 

My little boy was excited. This is his first ever solo birthday party! (he always joins his ate's birthday celebration kase since their birthdays are just a week apart) This time, he has a celebration for himself alone :) 

We got him a cars-themed cake, like the first one on my peg. And some red and a few yellow balloons. 

I got him his birthday polo for only 155peso powers. Hehe... Such kuripot mommy.. But hey, the polo looked smart on him kaya! 

And we got these for the lootbags:

(Yes, there's milk in our looties :) )
